I can not remember a time I did not like bulldozers,
diggers and all types of construction equipment.
Hundreds of hours of my childhood were happily spent in sandboxes
and at beaches building countless miles of roads, tunnels and bridges.
For two years, my walk to school wound through the construction
of a new highway and railroad bridge.
Observations and inspections of the construction equipment became a part of my life.
I still like watching heavy equipment working.
I do not think I ever met a big yellow machine I did not like!
