Airplanes and rocket ships fascinated me at an early age.
The margins on many of my grade school papers were decorated with them.
As a kid, I built countless model airplanes, even some with little motors
that I flew in circles at the end of two wires.
I was thrilled by my first ride in a Piper Cub when in high school.
From vintage biplanes, military aircraft, commercial planes and hot air balloons,
I join countless others in my love of flying machines.
